Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• PVEstrap means the brand under which the relevant services are offered.
• Services means the PVEstrap websites, profile pages, downloads, desktop software, purchase flows, support routes, and connected access-control or entitlement features operated under that brand.
• User, you, or your means any person or organization accessing, installing, buying, publishing to, or otherwise using the services.
• Content means software, downloads, text, images, documentation, public profile material, branding, and related material made available through the services.

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By using a PVEstrap service, you agree to these Terms and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service.

You may use the services only where you are legally allowed to do so. If you use a service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization for the relevant use.

3. Scope of services

These Terms apply to pvestrap.com, PVEMM, the PVEstrap bootstrapper, PVEstrap profile pages or subdomains, support and legal contact routes, purchase delivery, recovery, and related entitlement features.

Not every feature is available to every user. Some functions depend on local setup, third-party platform availability, eligibility, or a paid entitlement.

4. Eligibility

You may use the services only if you are legally permitted to do so. If the law where you live requires parental or guardian permission for your use, you must have that permission before using a PVEstrap service.

You are also responsible for making sure your use does not violate local law, platform rules, export restrictions, or other restrictions that apply to you.

5. Software, licenses, and purchases

• PVEstrap software and related content remain owned by PVEstrap or its licensors.
• A purchase grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the product within the purchased scope.
• Product-specific activation, recovery, or entitlement rules shown at purchase time form part of the product terms for that purchase.
• Legacy licenses may still be honored where supported, but issuance, delivery, and recovery formats may change over time.

Where a product includes activation limits, same-network rules, recovery steps, or time-based entitlement, those rules are part of the permitted use for that product.

6. Gifts, delivery, and recovery

• Self-purchases and gifts may follow different delivery paths.
• Delivery pages, recovery links, verification codes, and other one-time access paths must not be shared outside the intended buyer or recipient flow.
• If a gift is sent, only the intended recipient may use the gifted delivery route.
• Recovery and verification steps may expire, require re-verification, or stop working after use.
• Refund handling follows the Refund Policy, including the rule that claimed licenses are not normally refundable once more than 10% of the purchased duration has been used and that claimed gifted licenses are not refundable.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not bypass purchase, entitlement, activation, rate-limit, recovery, or delivery controls.
• Do not resell, share, or misuse restricted downloads, delivery links, recovery paths, or license credentials.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble software except where mandatory law gives a non-excludable right.
• Do not use profile pages, support routes, or site content for impersonation, abuse, unlawful material, or another person's personal data without an appropriate legal basis.
• Do not interfere with service availability, integrity, or security.

8. Public profiles and user content

If you publish profile or similar public content, you are responsible for the material you submit and for having the rights or legal basis needed to publish it. PVEstrap may remove or restrict content that appears unlawful, abusive, misleading, or impersonating.

Once a public page is live, people and search engines can save or share what they can see. Do not publish anything you do not want treated as public.

By submitting public content to a PVEstrap service, you grant PVEstrap a non-exclusive right to host, store, format, display, transmit, back up, moderate, and technically adapt that content as needed to operate and secure the relevant service.

9. Third-party platforms

Some PVEstrap features depend on third-party platforms such as payment providers, email providers, hosting providers, app stores, or community platforms. Those services remain subject to their own terms and policies.

PVEstrap is not responsible for an outage, restriction, or policy change on a third-party platform that affects availability of an integration or delivery route.

10. Availability and disclaimers

The services are provided on an as-available basis. PVEstrap does not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every system, or error-free operation in every environment.

Services may be changed, paused, or discontinued where needed for maintenance, security, legal reasons, abuse prevention, or product evolution.

11. Liability and mandatory rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded. Subject to that, liability for slight negligence is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract and only for essential contractual obligations.

Indirect or purely consequential losses are excluded to the extent allowed by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected where the law requires that result.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the services at any time. PVEstrap may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where there is a reasonable basis to do so, including for fraud, abuse, entitlement failure, platform policy requirements, or security risk.

Where reasonably possible, notice may be given before permanent termination. Immediate action may still be taken where delay would create a real legal, operational, or security problem.

13. Changes

PVEstrap may update these Terms where needed to reflect service changes, legal requirements, abuse-prevention work, or operational updates. The current version is published on this page with an updated date.

If a change materially affects paid access or legal rights, it applies prospectively unless the law requires a different result.

14. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the CISG, to the extent legally permitted. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected where required by law.

When a notice relates to a profile page, a software purchase, a delivery flow, or a recovery issue, include enough detail to identify the relevant product, page, or order so the request can be handled accurately.
